Nima Project
Location: Nima, Accra
Often described as Accra’s largest slum, Nima is a densely populated and poorly planned community with limited access to clean water, sanitation, and basic services. Many families live without running water, and children face daily hardships just to meet basic needs.
Our Vision:
To provide clean water access, create income-generating opportunities, and offer a safe, supportive environment for at-risk youth and women.
Project Initiatives:
- Installation of boreholes to provide families with access to clean water
- Creation of vocational spaces for activities like sewing, art, and crafts
- Empowerment programs specifically targeting at-risk women and teenage mothers
Through these efforts, we aim to alleviate the daily burdens these communities face and promote sustainable, community-led development.
