SENYA BREKU PROJECT

Senya Breku is a residential area in the Awutu Senya District of the Central Region of Ghana. Senya Breku is the site of Fort Good Hope. Fort of Good Hope was built in 1667 by the Dutch in then Gold Coast for the purposes of slave trade. The main occupation of the people currently is fishing and most of these fisher folks are illiterates.

These people lack so many social amenities such as healthcare, education buildings and clinics, the only clinic in the town is without power plant to power electricity during light outage in time-of-service delivery, Phototherapy for survival of newborn babies, Microscope for Malaria parasite count, Ultrasound scan machine for monitoring pregnant women among other things.
